A poster on Socialight was presented at UbiComp 2004, the Sixth International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing, which was held September 7-10, 2004 in Nottingham, England. The annual conference is the premier forum in which to present research results in all areas relating to the design, implementation, application and evaluation of ubiquitous computing technologies. It brings together leading researchers from a variety of disciplines and geographical areas who are exploring the frontiers of computing as it moves beyond the desktop and becomes increasingly interwoven into the fabrics of our lives. Also at the conference, Dan Melinger of Kamida presented a paper during the UbiComp in the Urban Frontier workshop entitled “Privacy’s Role in Mobile Social Software for the Urban Community.”
